The Airport Helicopter Transfer in Mauritius Includes:

• Airport transfer by helicopter to your hotel’s helipad/ closest helipad to your place of accommodation (see list of Helipads below)
• Direct Transfer between Airport and hotels OR Premium Airport Transfer via Jet Prime 
• Private Helicopter transfer for up to 5 pax

This package includes only the helicopter transfer to or from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and your hotel / closest helipad to your place of accommodation (one-way).

Should your hotel or place of accommodation not have a helipad; Mauritius Attractions can provide a transfer to the helipad closest to your place of accommodation (for a supplement).

In such a case, you will also have to pay an additional amount to cover the landing fees charged by the operator of the helipad.

Luggage Transfers

Mauritius Attractions can provide a luggage land transfer in a dedicated vehicle directly from the airport to your place of accommodation in case your luggage exceeds the below-mentioned luggage limitations:

• 1 - 2 passengers: 2 suitcases (each of maximum of 23 kgs) + 2 hand luggage
• 3 - 5 passengers: 1 hand luggage per person

Please note that luggage transfer service is included for the Premium Airport Transfer option, while it is available at an additional fee for the Direct Airport Helicopter Transfers.

Got too much luggage? No problem—if everything doesn’t fit on board, a land transfer for your bags will be arranged for a small supplement.

Mauritius Helipads

Helipads in Mauritius are dotted around the island, usually in the secure premises of a hotel or in an estate.

Please note that some helipads have a landing fee and vary. In such a case, you will have to cover the landing fees charged by the operator of the helipad. The landing fees are to be paid on the day of the flight directly at the helipad.

Should your hotel or place of accommodation not have a helipad, Mauritius Attractions can provide the transfer to the helipad closest to you at a supplement fee.

Note: The helicopter will wait for one hour only. If the client misses the transfer for any reason and is unable to catch the flight as a result of reaching the information desk past the 1-hour waiting time, no refund will be given. Furthermore, we are not liable for delays at the immigration desk or any other procedure.

• Max Passenger Capacity: 5 passengers.
  In case of 3 or more passengers, the flight trip will only be offered under the weight limitation.
• Baggage allowance is subject to a number of luggage and overall aircraft weight/ payload. Should there be any excess, a separate luggage transfer should be organised at an additional cost.
• Luggage specifications for the H125 helicopters vary based on weight and operational constraints, allowing for either 2 suitcases (75x50x30 cm) and 2 cabin handbags (60x40x25 cm), or 5 cabin handbags (60x40x25 cm).
• The Premium Airport Transfer Option (Arrival and Departure) will be via Jet Prime and will include Luxury transfer to and from the aircraft, hassle free luggage handling, streamlined immigration & customs clearance and smart lounge facilities. In case of helicopter flight cancellation within 24hrs, charges for Jet Prime services and facilities will still be applicable.
• The helicopter flights are subject to weather conditions.
• The helicopter flights at the airport are subject to Air Traffic Control.
• Other flight conditions apply.
• Please note that some helipads have a landing fees which are to be paid on the day of the flight directly at the helipad.
• Clients opting for the Bel Ombre Heliport must settle the landing fee as part of the order process, as no payment is accepted at the heliport.

• In the event of cancellation of helicopter transfer cancellations from Mauritius Attractions for the "Premium Airport Helicopter Transfer" due to technical problems, adverse weather conditions, aircraft delay or any other factor, we will pass on your booking for meet & assist (luggage handling/immigration & customs clearance), lounge access to Jet Prime directly. • In the case of the above conditions, for the transfer service to your hotel and luggage transfer, you can also check directly with Jet Prime. Please note that this service is on request only and subject to availability on the day; billing can be settled directly with Jet Prime.

Important Details to Submit

In order to process any helicopter booking, client MUST provide the following details:

• Name of each participant as per the passports and Gender
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Date of birth of each participant
• Weight of each participant*
• In case of any Children or baby, please specify same with the above details
• At least 24 hours before the flight, clients must provide the vehicle number, driver's name and ID (if any).
• For passengers 28 weeks pregnant or more, a medical certificate is required from a medical practitioner, stating they are fit to fly.

*The exact weight of each participant must be communicated at the time of booking. Any difference in weight on the day of the activity will result in cancellation, and no refund will be made.
