Designed by Ernie Els, the Golf Club at Anahita is a 7,580-yard, 18-hole, par-72 championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees. Six stunning oceanfront holes culminate in a final shot that is among the most spectacular in the world.

Built to USGA standards and carefully woven into the tropical sanctuary, the course is set against lush mountains and fringed by the vast crystal-clear lagoon. For sheer beauty, few courses in the world can match Anahita. This course only opened in 2008 but has already established itself as one of the best on the island.

It is in a magnificent setting and features some tough deep bunkers, numerous natural water hazards and 6 ocean-side holes and fortunately 5 sets of tees. Holes 16, 17 and 18 offer stunning ocean views, providing one of the most beautiful finishing holes in the world.

The Golf Academy offers instruction and private lessons, and the Clubhouse is equipped to enhance any golfer's game. The club also features a driving range, putting green and Pro Shop.

Golf Academy - The Golf Academy at Anahita specialises in improving the game of guests at all levels of ability, from complete beginners to scratch players. Whether your goal is to learn the game, lower your handicap or win a club championship, the Academy can help you achieve it. Programs cover all aspects of the game, including the full swing, the short game, course management, practice techniques, mental training, golf fitness and properly fitted equipment.

Club House - The Anahita Golf clubhouse is situated near the 18th hole and designed in contemporary Mauritian style. The clubhouse includes a fitness centre, a golf academy, a driving range and a professional golf shop where you find all the equipment you need. The Clubhouse restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, which is payable on-site.

Players should wear complete golf apparel:

• Soft spiked golf shoes
• Socks
• Golf wear

Players are required to bring their own

• Golf club set*

• The Green Fees rates include a golf cart equipped with a GPS system on a shared basis, one bottle of water and a pyramid of balls on the driving range.
• All bookings are subject to availability at all times.
• In the event of bad weather, players shall be offered an alternative time or day to play.

Golf Course Rules and Etiquette:

• All players should report to the starter kiosk 5 minutes before their allocated starting time.
• All players must wear appropriate golf shoes with soft spikes.
• Dress code must be observed for the golf course and clubhouse: no beachwear, no denims, no training shoes, no t-shirts; socks must be worn.
• All players are responsible for any injuries or loss of life incurred to themselves or others during play.
• All players are responsible for any damage caused to any hire clubs during their rounds.
• Each player must have his/her own golf bag with their own set of clubs.
• A golf cart may carry a maximum of two (2) players & two (2) golf bags.
• Juniors must be under 18 and accompanied by an adult driving the golf cart.
• All players are responsible for any damage to the golf cart, GPS System, property or injury to individual persons or their belongings during their round.
• All players must replace repair pitch marks on the greens and rake bunkers after play and keep to the pace of the course.

Failure to follow the rules and regulations of the golf club will result in refused permission to play and no refund will be issued.

In order to process any golf booking, the client MUST provide the following details:

• Name of each participant as per the passports and Gender
• Golf Handicap of each participant
• Is the participant left or right-handed?
• Will players bring their own sets of clubs?
