Visit the Endemic Forest & Walk to ‘Bout du Monde’ Platform

This is included with all activities, but it can also be booked on its own if you prefer to keep your visit simple, scenic and easy. It is a light 30 min trail where you can walk through a slightly dense forest with over 80 endemic plants and trees such as the ‘Bois Cerf’, ‘Bois de Ronde’ as well as the famous ‘Ebony Tree’ (some of them aged over 300 years old!).

As you walk, you may also come across monkeys and deer in their natural habitat before reaching the ‘Au Bout du Monde’ Platform, where the view opens beautifully across the island. For guests who want to enjoy Lavilleon without doing anything too demanding, this is a great choice.

Ziplining & Nepalese Bridge

The zipline is one of the most popular activities at Lavilleon. You can opt for 1 zipline or a combo of 3 ziplines (240m, 300m and 260m). As you zip through the air, you'll be amazed by the spectacular canyons, landscapes, waterfalls and forest views.

Continue with the thrill of walking 85 metres above the rainforest on the 280 metre long Nepalese Bridge. This safe and exhilarating activity will bring you close to nature and give you a unique perspective of the surrounding wildlife.

Fun Nature Activities Package

Ideal for adults and kids who love outdoor fun, this package includes the following:

Visit to the Endemic Forest & Walk to ‘Bout du Monde’ Platform – Discover Mauritius' unique flora on a peaceful walk through the endemic forest and enjoy breathtaking views from the ‘Au Bout du Monde’ Platform.

• Duration: 30 mins | Minimum Age: 3 years old

Archery Practice – Embark on an archery adventure through Lavilleon Natural Forest, aiming at targets inspired by African wildlife.

• Duration: 15-30 mins | Minimum Age: 12 years old

Viewpoint Hiking Trail – Discover 80+ endemic plants on a 5km hike through the Endemic Forest, with a rewarding view of the West Coast.

• Duration: 1-2 hours | Activity Time: 09:30 - 11:30 or 14:30 - 16:30
• Minimum Age: 5 years old

Optional Access to Kids Corner - Fishing + Zipline + Tortoises – For just a small supplement, little adventurers can have fun in the Kids Corner with catch-and-release fishing, access to the Tortoise Corner and a safe, exhilarating zipline activity.

Viewpoint Hiking Trail

The Viewpoint Hiking Trail is a nice one to add when you want your Lavilleon day to feel more active, but not extreme. The 5km trail takes you through the Endemic Forest, where you can discover more than 80 endemic plants along the way. With uphill and downhill sections, it feels like a proper nature walk rather than a quick stroll.

The best part comes at the viewpoint, where you are rewarded with a panoramic view of the West Coast. It is a beautiful reminder that Mauritius is not only lagoons and beaches, but also forest, mountains, valleys and wide open landscapes.

Horseback Ride

Slow things down with this gentle horse-riding activity, where you will explore part of the domain, including the Endemic Forest of 80+ endemic plants as well as an overview of the Chamarel Valley. Ideal for experienced equestrian, casual horseback riders or complete beginners - kid or adult.

Helicopter Sightseeing Tour

This is the special one. A helicopter sightseeing tour is not what most guests expect to find at an adventure park, which makes it a memorable addition to a Lavilleon day. Perfect for those looking for an affordable but unique way to explore the island, you have the choice between a 15-minute express scenic flight or a 25-minute tour of the southern region of Mauritius.

Archery Activity

Have fun with this exciting archery trail, shooting 15 arrows in the pristine natural surroundings of Lavilleon Adventure Park, supervised by expert guides. The archery trail features several targets, in the form of animal figures, to give you a taste of the wilderness safari experience.

• Duration: 15-30 mins  Minimum Age: 12 years old

Via Ferrata - Mountain Cliff Climbing

The Via Ferrata at Lavilleon Adventure Park consists of a predefined, secure climbing route along a mountain cliff which is 90+ metres high. There is a firmly fixed cable that runs along the route to keep you safe throughout the activity. So, gear up (proper sports shoes are a must!) and enjoy a bird’s eye view of breathtaking nature scenery!

• Duration: 2-3 hours | Activity Time: 10:00 - 13:00 or 13:30 - 16:30
• Age Restriction: As from 15 years old | Maximum weight: 130 Kg
• Max. number of pax per session: 15
• This activity is weather-dependent and can only be performed during dry weather; it will not be carried out in wet weather conditions.

About Lavilleon Adventure Park

Lavilleon Adventure Park is situated next to the Seven Coloured Earth and it engages in many tourist activities varying from Zipline and Nepalese Bridge to Via Ferrata. The domain also has an endemic forest with 85+ plants and is well aware of the importance of preserving its forests.

Part of the Protected Area Network (PAN) sponsored by the Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement et le Progrès (PNUD), the park is managed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Ministry of Agro-Industry.

In order to process any horse riding booking, client MUST provide the following details:

• Weight of each participant
• Level of rider: beginner, intermediate or advanced

Note:

• Please note that horse riding is done one after the other, with a break after each session.
• This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
• Suitable for all levels, including those with no prior horse-riding experience. However, only experienced riders will be allowed to gallop with horses.

In order to process any helicopter booking, client MUST provide the following details:

• Name of each participant as per the passports and the gender
• Nationality
• Passport number
• Date of birth of each participant
• Weight of each participant*
• In case of any children please specify same with the above details

Note:

• *The exact weight of each participant must be communicated at the time of booking. Any difference in weight on the day of the activity will result in cancellation, and no refund will be made.
• Subject to weather conditions & availability, your exact time slot will be confirmed only on the eve of the activity. The duration of the helicopter flights is indicative & approximate.
• The weather forecast to determine the feasibility of the flight will be done on the day itself by the pilot.
• The helicopter tour is offered on a shared for up to 6 pax. In case the number of passengers is insufficient, the flight may be rescheduled or cancelled.
• Passengers should hold a valid Boarding Pass and proof of ID prior to boarding the helicopter.
• Smoking, food and beverages are prohibited during the helicopter flights.
• Passengers must check in at least 45 minutes before departure; a 100% cancellation fee applies if they/clients arrive more than 15 minutes after take-off time.
• All helicopters are subject to passengers' and luggage limitations.

Transport is available for an extra fee, with pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Mauritius.

How is the Transportation Fare calculated?

For transportation not included as part of the tour, the fare is calculated based on the set activity duration, the distance between your accommodation and the activity location (round trip).

Transport Payment

The payment for transportation is divided into two parts:

"Deposit": Payable at the time of booking, alongside your activity reservation. This deposit covers a portion of the total transportation fare.

"Amount Due to Driver": The remaining balance is payable in cash directly to the driver on the day of the activity. This final amount is calculated by subtracting the deposit from the total transportation cost.
