One of the first highlights comes with a stop near Cap Malheureux, where you’ll enjoy a 15-minute photo stop at the famous red-roofed chapel - an easy, postcard-worthy moment that feels essential to any north coast adventure.

Snorkelling in Clear Mauritian Waters

With the day nicely underway, it’s time to jump into the water. Snorkelling takes place at Coin de Mire or Trou Bleu, depending on sea conditions. Both locations offer clear waters and colourful marine life, giving you plenty of time to explore coral formations, float peacefully, or simply enjoy the surroundings.

Island Time or Mangrove Escape - You Go Where Conditions Allow

About the Speed Boat

The excursion is operated on a 22-foot speedboat powered by two 150 hp engines, offering a smooth and stable ride along the north coast. Featuring a covered centre console and designed for small groups, the boat is fully equipped with life jackets, a first-aid kit, and distress rockets, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.

About Bernache Island

Bernache Island is less than 2 acres. This incredible islet is also known as Pointe Bernache or as Ilot Bernache and is part of Ile d'Ambre. Its white sandy beaches and scintillating turquoise water will tempt you to a refreshing swim.

You will likely spot a few casuarina trees and some species of grass and shrubs. There are one or two beautiful stretches of sandy beaches and the rest of the island's beaches are made up of rocks and boulders.

• Minimum Age: 1 year old
• Minimum number of participants: 4 pax
• Maximum number of participants: 9 pax
• A consent form must be signed by all participants before embarkation.
• The itinerary may be adjusted depending on tide and current conditions.
• In case of a change in departure address, you shall be advised accordingly.
• Swimmers should wear swimwear under their clothes.
• This activity is not advised for pregnant women.
• Guests are advised to arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
• In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, technical issues, or reasons related to guest or marine safety, the management reserves the right to reschedule the activity.

Transport is available for an extra fee, with pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Mauritius.

How is the Transportation Fare calculated?

For transportation not included as part of the tour, the fare is calculated based on the set activity duration, the distance between your accommodation and the activity location (round trip).

Transport Payment

The payment for transportation is divided into two parts:

"Deposit": Payable at the time of booking, alongside your activity reservation. This deposit covers a portion of the total transportation fare.

"Amount Due to Driver": The remaining balance is payable in cash directly to the driver on the day of the activity. This final amount is calculated by subtracting the deposit from the total transportation cost.
