Scenic Cruising & Iconic Photo Stop

As the speedboat glides across the lagoon, wide coastal views and refreshing sea breezes set the tone. One of the first highlights is a stop near Cap Malheureux, where you can enjoy a 15-minute photo break at the famous red-roofed chapel - a classic north coast landmark.

Snorkelling in Clear Mauritian Waters

With the day nicely underway, it’s time to get in the water. Snorkelling takes place at Coin de Mire or Trou Bleu, depending on sea conditions. Both locations offer clear waters and colourful marine life, giving you time to explore coral formations or simply enjoy the surroundings.

Island Time or Mangrove Escape - You Go Where Conditions Allow

The experience then continues with a second stop, depending on sea conditions. When accessible, the speedboat heads to Flat Island for swimming and relaxation in an open island setting.

Alternatively, the route may include Bernaches Island or nearby lagoon areas, offering calmer waters ideal for exploration and leisure time.

Lunch on Board - BBQ at Sea

About the Speed Boat

The excursion is operated on a 29-foot speedboat powered by two 140 hp engines. Designed for small groups, the boat features a covered centre console and is fully equipped with life jackets, a first-aid kit and distress rockets to ensure comfort and safety throughout the journey.

About Bernaches Island

Bernaches Island is less than 2 acres. This islet is also known as Pointe Bernache or Îlot Bernaches and forms part of Île d'Ambre. Its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters make it ideal for swimming and relaxation.

You may spot casuarina trees and coastal vegetation across the island. Some areas feature sandy beaches, while others are made up of rocks and boulders.

• Minimum Age: 1 year old
• Minimum number of participants: 4 pax
• Maximum number of participants: 9 pax
• A consent form must be signed by all participants before embarkation.
• The itinerary may be adjusted depending on tide and current conditions.
• In case of a change in departure address, you shall be advised accordingly.
• Swimmers should wear swimwear under their clothes.
• This activity is not advised for pregnant women.
• Guests are advised to arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
• In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, technical issues, or reasons related to guest or marine safety, the management reserves the right to reschedule the activity.

Transport is available for an extra fee, with pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Mauritius.

How is the Transportation Fare calculated?

For transportation not included as part of the tour, the fare is calculated based on the set activity duration, the distance between your accommodation and the activity location (round trip).

Transport Payment

The payment for transportation is divided into two parts:

"Deposit": Payable at the time of booking, alongside your activity reservation. This deposit covers a portion of the total transportation fare.

"Amount Due to Driver": The remaining balance is payable in cash directly to the driver on the day of the activity. This final amount is calculated by subtracting the deposit from the total transportation cost.
