Swim with the dolphins and snorkel

The west coast is particularly renowned for whales and dolphin watching. As part of this package you will do more than just watch them, you will get to swim amongst the friendly dolphins.

Swimming with dolphins is an incredibly moving experience which will bring you into contact with strikingly beautiful scenery, unspoiled landscapes and wonderful animals. Plunge into the remarkable world of these marine mammals and come face to face with the dolphins.

Unlike many other dolphin facilities that limit a swim with dolphins to pools or shallow water encounters, you will have the unique opportunity to enter the dolphins’ natural environment and enjoy an encounter with the dolphins in the open sea for 2.5 hours!

You will get to snorkel near the reefs as well where the wonderful underwater life can be witnessed. Colourful fishes, beautiful anemones and corals and if you are lucky you might even spot a turtle!

Marvel at the beauty of the Southwest coast

Discover the beautiful southern and western coasts of the island through this delightful trip. The South of Mauritius is known for its picturesque, uncrowded beaches and preserved environment.

While heading south, you will come across Le Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a summit of 500 meters and known to be an escape haven for runaway slaves in the 19th century. The mountain is also the natural habitat of a very large variety of endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is the floral emblem of Mauritius.

You will also go to the Macondé Viewpoint, located between Le Morne and Baie du Cap. Set on the curve of the coastal road, the peak of the small rocky cliff allows you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and the majestic Le Morne mountain.

Your Mauritian Lunch at Enba Pié Restaurant

Next stop is Enba Pié Restaurant, where the only thing as delightful as the food is its unique, open-air setting; 18th-century building shaded by an age-old Banyan Tree.

Nestled behind the former summer residence of the French and British governors, now serving as the headquarters of Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, Enba Pié provides an idyllic atmosphere - ideal for foodies, nature lovers and history enthusiasts.

2-hour Eco Quad in the South

For those who would like to show off their off-road skills, this 2-hour quad biking trip is just the thing. Specially designed for adrenaline junkies, the 2-hour quad ride allows you to discover the South of the island in a fun way.

During the quad biking activity, you will be able to witness the beautiful flora and fauna of Mauritius while also riding along splendid landscapes, including extraordinary views of the island and its marvellous valleys, mountains and waterfalls.

The Exclusive Quad Ride guarantees you personal guidance from the accompanying guide! Departing from the Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, the 2-hour ride will have you drive through the sugar cane fields at the Dalsing plains and discover the endemic fauna and flora along the way, drenched by enchanting rivers and waterfalls.

Moving on, you will drive past a fish pond before reaching the ruins of Heritage’s old sugar mill located at the brink of Dalsing plains. The breathtaking scenery, cascading waterfalls, pools of clear water, and luxuriant greeneries surrounding the region, make them wonderful sites for you to explore.

• What to wear: It is recommended for participants to wear sports shoes with socks, trousers, t-shirt, sweatshirt, hat or cap.

General

• This excursion/itinerary depends solely on climatic conditions. An alternate route or date will be proposed should the weather be unfavourable.
• Maximum number of participants: 6 pax

Private 2.5 hours of Swimming with Dolphins

• This activity is available from Monday to Saturday.
• Safety requirement: This trip is not recommended for pregnant women.
• Snorkelling equipment is available onboard.
• Participants must arrive at least 15 mins before departure time.
• Soft Drinks & Water will be offered on board.
• There is a high probability of seeing Dolphins, but if that is not the case, there will be no money refund or rescheduling.
• All clients must fill in and sign a Disclaimer Form before participating in this activity.
• Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
• Participants have to wear a life vest at all times.
• The management reserves the right to cancel any reservation if bad weather prevails, whereby safety of clients would be at stake.

Quad Restrictions

• This activity is available from Monday to Sunday.
• Please note that in the case of even numbers of participants (For example: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10), each two participants will ride one double quad. In case of an odd number of participants (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), one of the participants will have to ride a single quad bike.
• All quad riders must do a test drive before they set off on the tour.
• If the guide notices that a rider is not comfortable with the quad, the rider will be provided with other options. Should these options not be accepted by the rider, cancellation fees might apply.
• The management may cancel bookings in the event of bad weather, especially if clients' safety is at risk.

Double Quad:

• Drivers must be at least 18 years old and passengers at least 12 years old.

Single Quad:

• Drivers must be at least 18 years old

Health and Safety Restrictions

• The quad bike tour is strictly forbidden for pregnant women.
• No one under, or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, will be allowed to take part in the ride.
• All participants will be required to sign a disclaimer form prior to the activity.
