With this package offered by Mauritius Attractions, you will have the chance to enjoy a guided 1h30 kayak trip on the Tamarin River. No previous kayaking experience is required, and the activity is suitable for anyone in good health.

Sunrise Experience 

This one’s for the early birds. The people who don’t mind setting an alarm because they know mornings like this are worth it.

At sunrise, the river feels almost private. The mountains sit under a soft layer of mist, the water is glassy and still, and you can actually hear birds waking up around you. There’s no rush, no noise - just the gentle sound of your paddle touching the water.

Sunset Experience

Not a morning person? This is your moment.

As the sun begins to drop, the sky slowly shifts from blue to gold, then orange, then deep red. The mountains turn into dark silhouettes, and the river reflects everything like a mirror. The atmosphere feels softer, warmer - almost cinematic.

You’ll paddle gently as the day winds down, then pause with a cold soft drink in hand while the sky changes colour around you. It’s relaxed, romantic, and perfect if you love that golden-hour glow. The kind of experience where you think, “Okay… this is why I’m in Mauritius.”

• This activity requires no previous kayaking experience and is suitable for anyone in good health.
• This activity is not suitable for pregnant women, babies in backpacks, individuals with health or mobility issues, people recovering from surgery or injury, or those without swimming experience.
• Life vest will be provided.
• The guide reserves the right to change the tour itinerary if weather conditions require it.

Transport is available for an extra fee, with pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Mauritius.

How is the Transportation Fare calculated?

For transportation not included as part of the tour, the fare is calculated based on the set activity duration, the distance between your accommodation and the activity location (round trip).

Transport Payment

The payment for transportation is divided into two parts:

"Deposit": Payable at the time of booking, alongside your activity reservation. This deposit covers a portion of the total transportation fare.

"Amount Due to Driver": The remaining balance is payable in cash directly to the driver on the day of the activity. This final amount is calculated by subtracting the deposit from the total transportation cost.
