About Flat Island

Flat Island, known as Île Plate in French, is located near Round Island, at the extreme north of Mauritius, about 11 kilometres north of Cap Malheureux. Its size of 253 hectares makes it the largest of the northern islets. The island is also one of the most popular snorkelling & diving sites.

Fun fact: Flat Island houses one of the two working lighthouses in Mauritius!

About Coin de Mire Island

Coin de Mire, or Gunner's Quoin, lies 8 km north of Mauritius and is a top diving and snorkelling site with year-round visibility. While the island itself is inaccessible, it offers stunning bird-watching opportunities, including sightings of the iconic “Paille-en-Queue.” Its highest point reaches 142 meters.

Governor’s House By the Sea - Lunch Menu

• Number of participants: up to 50 pax per day (There is a fleet of 3-4 speed boats of 5 up to 10 seats in capacity)
• This activity is subject to change in schedule due to weather and sea conditions.
• The speedboat trip is still carried out under rain unless safety is compromised.
• You are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before activity time.
• Pregnant women are requested to seek medical advice prior to booking.
• Snorkelling equipment will be provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own.
• All extras, not included in the offer, shall be charged upon departure.
• Booking confirmation must be shown by all customers on arrival.
• In the event of low tide on the scheduled trip day, which is beyond control, the timing may need to be rescheduled or postponed to another day.
