Launched in November 2001, Ebène Cybercity was created to position Mauritius as a modern technology hub connecting Africa and Asia. At its heart stands the iconic Cyber Tower One, a striking 12-storey building covering 44,000 square metres, completed in just 18 months.

Today, it symbolises the island’s move into innovation, hosting leading IT companies and high-end professional services. Recognised by the Intelligent Community Forum in 2005 for its smart building design, Cyber Tower One reflects Mauritius’s successful transition towards a knowledge-based and technology-driven economy.
