Hiking Trails at Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire
- Plaine Champagne - Piton de la Rivière Noire: A 11 km round-trip from the Gorges Viewpoint, taking about 4.5 hours. The trail is easy-going except for the steep final ascent to the summit.
- Plaine Champagne - Chamarel: A 5.5-hour moderate hike, including the ascent of Piton de la Rivière Noire, with a descent through Chamarel.
- Black River Gorges - Piton de la Rivière Noire: A more demanding 7-hour hike, including a return through Plaine Champagne after reaching the summit.
